KROWN doesn't explain its acquisitions.

This one arrived without documentation. No provenance. No seller on record. Just the object itself — silk, stretched permanently around the impression of a clenched hand, framed by whoever had it before us.

We've had three people look at it. They all saw something different. We stopped asking after that.

What we can tell you: silk does something to light that canvas doesn't. What you see at 9am is not what you see at 9pm. The hand looks like it's holding on in the morning. By evening it looks like it's letting go. We're not sure that's a coincidence.

We're releasing 250 frames. Numbered. Signed. Then this case closes and we move to the next acquisition.
