The inner cup has a starburst-cut base — a technique that multiplies light reflection beneath the stone, making a small diamond read significantly larger than its carat weight suggests.

The two-tone construction is deliberate: warm yellow gold on the outside, cool white setting at the stone. The contrast draws the eye directly to the diamond without competing with it.
