KROWN doesn't explain its acquisitions.

This one is simpler than most. And more unsettling.

A rectangular object rested inside these folds long enough to leave its shape in the silk. Then it was removed. The wax seal in the corner was broken by whoever took it. The cloth was left behind. The object was not.

We don't know what it was. We don't know if it was priceless or dangerous. Several people who've looked at this piece have pointed out that those might be the same thing.

What we can tell you: every fold, every crease, every worn thread is exactly as discovered. Nothing was staged. The imprint was already there when this reached us.

We're releasing 150 frames. Black matte. Numbered. Signed. When they're gone, this case closes.
