KROWN doesn't explain its acquisitions. This one we genuinely can't.

This cloth was folded when we received it. We don't know by whom.

The first person we asked to document it unfolded it, photographed it, and refolded it. Routine. The second person couldn't match the first photograph. Not close — just different enough that we brought in a third.

We stopped at twelve.

The fold pattern is consistent when you're in the room with it. The moment it's photographed, something changes. Every camera. Every conservator. Every session.

We have no explanation on record. We're not looking for one.

The cloth is displayed exactly as it arrived. We haven't touched it since.
